Membership Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Welcome to the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association ("GaREIA"). By becoming a member of GaREIA, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Membership Agreement By completing your membership application and submitting payment, you agree to the terms outlined in this agreement, which will govern your membership with GaREIA.

2. Membership Benefits Your GaREIA membership grants you access to certain benefits, which may include but are not limited to: event attendance, networking opportunities, educational resources, and other services provided by GaREIA. Benefits are subject to change without prior notice.

3. Membership Fees and Billing

• Annual Membership Dues: GaREIA memberships are based on an annual subscription model. Your membership fee covers a 12-month period starting from your membership activation date.
• Automatic Renewal: Memberships will automatically renew at the end of each 12-month period unless canceled as outlined in Section 4. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge and consent to the automatic renewal and subsequent billing of your annual membership fee using the payment method on file.
• Payment Authorization: You authorize GaREIA to charge the annual membership fee to the payment method provided at the time of enrollment or as updated by you.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time by completing the cancellation form available at https://gareia.com/cancel. Cancellations must be completed prior to your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next membership period.
• Refunds: Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

5. Member Conduct Members are expected to adhere to GaREIA’s code of conduct, which promotes professionalism, respect, and integrity. GaREIA reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund for violations of this code.

6. Changes to Terms GaREIA reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or through the GaREIA website. Continued use of membership benefits after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

7. Liability Disclaimer GaREIA provides educational resources and networking opportunities but does not provide financial, legal, or investment advice. Members are responsible for their own business decisions and outcomes.

8. Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

9. Acknowledgment By submitting your membership application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
