Who We Are
Georgia’s Most Trusted Real Estate Organization
Georgia Real Estate Investors Association or GaREIA (jor-juh ree-ah) is a vibrant community for real estate investors and related industry professionals. Through networking, education, and cooperation, GaREIA members get up to speed, stay informed, and hone their investing strategies while helping each other out.
You’ll feel the difference between GaREIA and other meetups. GaREIA sets the bar high for providing great networking for investors who are serious about becoming better and giving back to others who want to learn. Many real estate meetups or organizations are self-serving for the leaders and attendees are predominately inexperienced or they are unvetted vendors. GaREIA is a volunteer-led, non-profit – ensuring the focus is on the success and benefits of members — new and old.
Active members can very quickly become successful by attending meetings, asking questions, participating in deal reviews, engaging in the online community, and taking low-cost, member-created education.

Being a Member of GaREIA means being committed to your success and advocating for the success of others. The nearly 1000 members believe we are more successful together than separate. That means we:
We are not an organization that thrives while you fail. Many real estate groups are for the benefit of their leader – a real estate agent buy through them or an investor trying to get you to ‘partner’ with them where you take on lots of risk.
We are focused on strategies that work well in Georgia for our members. There are dozens of strategies. At some point in your real estate career, you should be aware of them all. However, the strategy that’s right for you must fit with your goals and abilities.
We do not ‘pump and dump’ educational seminars. We don’t invite high-priced speakers to sell hard to the members and charge them exorbitant fees for a ‘get rich’ class. We provide hours of education every month through online and classroom. You’ll be thrilled with the amount of experience and support in every meeting with you.

GaREIA Members own thousands of properties and therefore spend a lot to service their portfolios. Good vendor partners are essential to investors’ success.
We celebrate these great vendors by inviting a couple of them to our meetings giving them the floor so you know what they do, members who advocate for them, and how to best work with them.
Additionally, we hold an annual Vendor Fair where we bring a variety of vendors in – including mom-and-pop vendors with no marketing budgets. These are mostly vendors put forth by members as great to work with – fair prices, good response times, and quality work.
We don’t let vendors bribe their way to becoming a ‘trusted member’ of the organization. They must earn it, then we’re great advocates for them and it can make a huge difference for us all.
There isn’t a scarcity of opportunities in Georgia real estate. It’s arguably one of the best, if not THE best, market in the country. Become a member now if you believe Atlanta and Georgia will continue to grow and change and you want to learn from dozens of successful investors who are happy to support you.

GaREIA is led by volunteers – a volunteer Board of Directors and more than a dozen subgroup leaders with extensive and diverse investing experience.
In every meeting, you’ll find members speak up and share their expertise to support new members and old members seeking to learn new things. Attending and sharing expertise is paramount to the value of our many meetings each month.
Most of our education is now created and informed by the extensive experience of members. We are able to pull together the broad and deep experience of members and publish courses throughout the year. Members can then learn without a significant investment, when they are ready to learn.
Many of our meetings are hybrid, so members who are far from our office can attend. The set up and management of this technology requires the help of volunteers along with having refreshments available to make people more comfortable and prolong the networking.
The list of volunteer opportunities and needs goes on-and-on. When people engage into the organization, they reap great benefits – getting more networking opportunities and greater support – as a thank you from other members.
