Get Smart with us at the November 12th Georgia Real Estate Investors General Session meeting! We are going to investigate the 2018 tax law changes and how to benefit in tax liability reduction. We are going to discuss your best corporate structure specific to real estate, Income Strategies that meet your goals, and how to benefit from the 2018 tax code opportunities.

Attorney Sam Maguire, Jr will discuss LLCs: Should you form in Georgia, Delaware, or Nevada? Should you have an LLC or better to have a simple Corporation?  Do transfer of title conversions from individuals to LLC cause problems with due on sale clauses? What are some unintended consequences?

Rick Girgis of Equitable Consulting, Inc. will discuss why use a Schedule C or 1120-s vs. a Schedule E for institutional financing qualifying. How long and the best uses for a carry forward loss vs. lumping your income in a particular year or years for mortgage qualifying.
